Anti-Racism Action Plan

At Petals & Pages, we are committed to antiracism as a daily, ongoing practice. We are committed to taking the following actions:

  • Ensure at least 50% of our monthly book club picks are written by BIPOC authors.
  • Ensure that at least 50% of the books facing out on the shelves inside the store are written by BIPOC authors.
  • Reserve free BIPOC community tickets for workshops and events.
  • Prioritize events and talks by authors of color.
  • Promote local small businesses run by people of color and stock merchandise from vendors of color, with priority given to QTBIPOC vendors.

Event tickets

We reserve free tickets for BIPOC community members for paid events and workshops. Please email dylah@petalsandpagesofdenver.com to reserve your spot using one of these free community tickets.

Book Displays

We curate our table displays monthly, and when we feature a table display for various racial heritage months (including Black History Month, Arab American History Month, AAPI Heritage Month, Latine Heritage Month, and Indigenous Peoples Month), we will donate 5% of book sales to a specified, rotating organization.
